Terms
FOSSStudio is a free, open-source project, given away "as is" - with no warranty, no service levels and no promises. These terms cover this website and your use of the software. They're short because free software does most of the talking.
The software
FOSSStudio is free software, licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. You may run it, study it, change it and share it under that license's terms. The source code is the authoritative copy.
No warranty, no liability, no expectations
Lightmorphic Ltd created FOSSStudio and gives it away. It does not operate, supervise or control any installation of it, and it accepts no responsibility for what the software does on your server or what anyone does with it.
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without any guarantee or warranty of any kind, express or implied - no promise that it is fit for any purpose, reliable, secure, error-free or available at all. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lightmorphic Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from downloading, installing, running or relying on the software - lost recordings, lost data, lost income, damaged systems, missed shows, anything a studio's operator or guests do, or any other harm, however caused. You run it entirely at your own risk, and if you're unhappy with it your remedy is to stop using it. This is the footing the AGPL itself sets out in sections 15 to 17.
Being free also means there is no entitlement to support, updates, fixes or continued development - what the project gives, it gives freely, when it can. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Studios other people run
Every FOSSStudio installation is independent. The person who runs a studio is responsible for it - its content, its guests, its compliance with the law where they are. We provide the software, not the shows.

Questions about these terms go to terms@lightmorphic.com. Anything about the software itself is better raised in the issue tracker, where other people can see the answer.
